A high scoring draw saw the first point of 2008 awarded to Balaga... With deano at some chemistry exam and not knowing when he would turn up Webz brought his newly homeless younger brother Damo along... Yes Webz was actually able to play this week!!! So there was 6 there 20 minutes before the game as we did a light warm up in the car park... The parked cars took the brunt of most of the passes though...
Despite a good start Balaga went a goal down early but fought back briskly to go 2-1 up... only to go 2-3 down!!! it then went tit for tat until the end i think, with Balaga always behind but fighting back...
Star striker Phil bagged a brace as did homeboy webz... Kev and Tom chipped in with one a piece... Blake was good again in goal but will be missed next week as he is going skiing with his posh Dublin friends... Deano was rock solid once he was told at half time to stop texting his f'ing ol doll...
Balaga went home without 3 points but with 1 in the bag and smiles on their faces at least/last!
